Zero Liquid Discharge, ZLD Plants
Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) is an advanced wastewater treatment system in which no liquid effluent is discharged outside the plant. Almost all wastewater is treated and reused, while the remaining contaminants are converted into solid waste (salts/sludge) for disposal or recovery.
